AFT Connecticut's annual legislative conference is set to take place in four weeks at the State Capitol in Hartford — and you are invited to be a part of this important event::

WHAT: 2020 Legislative Issues Conference
WHEN: Saturday, February 29, from 9:00AM to 1:00PM (registration opens at 8:30AM).
WHERE: Legislative Office Building (LOB), located at 300 Capitol Avenue in Hartford (free, easy access parking is available in the adjacent garage).

HOW: Click here to register to attend — there is no cost for dues-paying members, but breakfast and lunch will be provided so we need an accurate head count.

We have invited several legislative leaders to attend, address the conference and — most importantly — answer your questions. This is a critical opportunity for teachers, school support staff, nurses and health professionals, higher education faculty, state employees and retirees to be heard on the issues that matter.

Click here for the conference page at our website's Calendar (will be updated as further details are confirmed).

We hope you will join us next month in Hartford and make your voice heard on the policies most important to you, your family and your community.

More to come, and in solidarity,
