HEP on Hold; 2020 Open Enrollment Delayed to September

UPDATED JUNE 10, 2020: The Health Enhancement Plan (HEP) requirements are indefinitely suspended until further notice.

Open enrollment for state employee medical and dental plans is on hold until September. You'll stay in the plan you're currently on until Oct. 1, and all the rates will remain the same until then. Read the announcement from the Office of the State Comptroller.

At the same time, a window to add or remove dependents is open through the end of June and will be effective July 1. You'll also be able to add or remove dependents during the September's open enrollment period.

Addtionally, the (OSC) has announced modifications to the Dependent Care Account Plan (DCAP) and the Medical Flexible Spending Account Plan (MEDFLEX) for 2020.
