FRIDAY, APRIL 22—The wait is over. At long last, we can say it:
We have a contract!
The House approved it the day before.
A few implementation steps and signatures and such need to take place over the next several weeks, and we don't have a definitive timeline yet, but we can say, we've cleared all the major hurdles and see a path to receiving our retroactive raises and lump sum payments toward the end of June.
Thank you to everyone who supported us during this year and a half of negotiations, and thank you to all the members who took the time to write or call your elected officials to remind them why they should vote in favor!
