What motivated you to run?
Since I became a member of UHP I wanted to be involved from day one. I waited for the right time and opportunity to open.
What are your plans and goals as recording secretary?
I want to educate our members on being involved in a union, the collective bargaining agreement and processes on how to understand and defend the contract.
What are you most looking forward to?
Growing the relationships between the members and the elected officials, getting more members involved and to show how important it is to be a member of a union.
What else would you like members to know about you?
I would have liked to be involved from the beginning but life sometimes gets in the way. My stepson was in a tragic accident and that became my main priority. I learned along the way to juggle life’s unexpected events.
