I have been an active UHP member for over 20 years and would consider myself an involved member. I have sat on numerous committees, been a UHP Union Representative, Steward and a member of the Contract Negotiating Team as well as the Scholarship Committee. Previously I have held the positions of VP of Tier I Employees and VP of Communications.
I currently work in the School of Dental Medicine as the Administrative Program Coordinator for General Dentistry. I previously have worked in Student Services and Patient Access.
I always say that I am blessed to be a UHP member. Being a member of this union has awarded me so many opportunities that have bettered me as a person. I have met so many wonderful people and made lifelong friends. I always say that being a part of UHP and working at the Health Center has changed my life.
As VP for Membership Activities I would strive to bring UHP members back together as one. This pandemic has made it hard for us to connect. I would welcome feedback and ideas from the membership of how they would like to see this happen.
I want every UHP member to have the same positive experience I have had with UHP. I want members to feel like their voices and opinions are heard. I respect UHP’s past and I look forward to our future.
