Another Attack on Unions

These days, it’s difficult for workers to get a fair union election without facing employer intimidation and delays. And now, President Trump’s National Labor Relations Board wants to change the rules so that it’s even harder for workers to have a voice on the job and a free and fair election for a union.

Now’s your chance, before the board changes any rules, to speak up for a fair union election process by telling the NLRB to protect our democratic rights in the workplace.

Tell Trump’s NLRB that it should be easier, not harder, for workers to have a voice on the job.

You already know that employers hire union busters, fire workers, hold captive-audience meetings and use delay tactics in far too many union elections.

During the Obama years, the NLRB implemented changes that removed a few of these obstacles to having a free and fair union election. But now, the NLRB is preparing to rescind the reforms made during the Obama administration.

The NLRB has announced it is going to take public comments before making any changes. More than 1,000 people have already responded with their comments around rescinding the 2014 rules—and we need you to raise your voice too, to make sure we continue to have free and fair elections.

This is your chance to make your voice heard.

In unity,

Randi Weingarten
AFT President
