Members of all AFT Connecticut-affiliated unions and chapters are invited to join their siblings in the state employees labor colaiiton to demand progress in ongoing contract negotiations. Despite record surpluses – and historically understaffed public service agencies – fair collective agreements have not been reached by the full workforce. The purpose of the event is to launch a new multi-media campaign to expose Governor Ned Lamont’s failure to recruit, retain and reinvest in the people state residents depend on.
The event is being organized by the State Employees Bargaining Agent Coalition (SEBAC), which includes AFT Connecticut and 11 of our affiliated unions and chapters.
