The Prudence Crandall Center is Connecticut's oldest domestic violence program, and of course welcomes any donations that would help carry out its mission of offering comprehensive services to women, men, and children who are victims of domestic violence.
Prudence Crandall serves Berlin, Bristol, Burlington, Kensington, New Britain, Plainville, Plymouth, Southington, and Terryville. I tell people, you think you don't know somebody who's been affected by domestic violence, but you do.
Also, the 14th American Legion Family Coat Drive we mentioned in December is still going on — it's still winter! Please consider bringing your unwanted coats to the American Legion Kiltonic Post 72, 64 Main St., Southington. No one deserves to be cold!
