Story-telling is one of the most effective ways to persuade and motivate elected leaders to support our priorities – whether its addressing staff shortages, worker safety, budget issues, or bolstering state public services. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, opportunities for face-to-face interaction with our elected leaders is sporadic. Every opportunity to tell our story becomes more important.

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 23, for a 90-minute training focused on practicing your story so that you are prepared for the Legislative Session.

Who: SEBAC leaders and members

What: Learn the fundamentals of how to tell your story to influence others towards action. Session will include key components to effective storytelling and time to develop and practice telling your story.

Where: Online via Zoom

When: Wednesday, Feb. 23, 5:30 to 7 p.m.

Why: The more effective our stories, the more impact we have to create change and influence our elected leaders to take action.

How: Sign-up and receive a Zoom link
