UHP’s Find Your Rep activity brought some extra energy, connection, and fun to our union community! Over three months, members were encouraged to find the union pep in their work area, introduce themselves, sign the rep log, and even snap a selfie together.
And UHP members showed up! A total of 150 submissions were received throughout the activity, with participation growing each month. Nine UHP members also walked away as gift card winners! But the real win was creating more opportunities for members to connect face-to-face with their union reps and learn whom they can turn to when workplace questions, concerns, or issues arise.
Find Your Rep is one of several new engagement strategies we introduced to increase membership engagement and build stronger connections between UHP members and their union representatives. By making union engagement more visible, approachable, and interactive, the initiative reinforced the important role our union reps play as the eyes and ears of University Health Professionals.
