Here's an overview of the amendments to the UHP Constitution approved in 2023:
ARTICLE XVII. DELEGATES
Elected officers who are office July 1 are automatic delegates to the next AFT Convention, AFT CT Convention, and CT AFL-CIO Convention.
ARTICLE XVIII. ORDER OF BUSINESS
Open Comment of Membership shall be included on agenda on all meetings of the membership.
ARTICLE IX. MEETINGS
Clarifies that members attending executive committee meeting have the right to address the board.
ARTICLE V. DUTIES OF OFFICERS
Modifies the duties of the recording secretary.
