Our pension and healthcare agreements shape some of the most important parts of our lives, whether we can afford to see a doctor, provide healthcare for our families and retire with dignity after a career in public service.
As we prepare for the upcoming statewide pension and healthcare negotiations, we need members across Connecticut to show what is at stake. We are asking members to write a sticky note about what affordable healthcare, retirement security or a strong public-service job means to you.
Your message might touch on:
- Why affordable healthcare matters to your family
- What a secure pension means after years of public service
- What needs to improve for the next generation of workers
- Why protecting these agreements matters to the services we provide

But the online action is only one part of this campaign. Please also write your message on a real sticky note and place it on your union bulletin board or neutral area like a break room or employee lounge. Then ask coworkers to add their voice.
These workplace displays will help make the stakes of the negotiations visible to management, start conversations among coworkers and demonstrate that members are organized and ready to stand together.
