On the second anniversary of the first Women's March in 2017, people of all backgrounds will come together to defend women's rights, workers' rights, civil rights, immigrant rights, and much more. AFT Connecticut is again joining the labor movement and community allies to support the collective 2019 Women's March agenda.
AFT Connecticut is organizing members to participate in local events taking place in Hartford on January 19. The Hartford event takes place at the State Capitol from 1 to 3 p.m. following a march from Bushnell Park. Additonal details will be posted as they are finalized.
There will be a "choir practice" for participating labor union members across the state on January 8 at 5:30 p.m. in Hartford (link below).
