On December 14, our VP of Community Outreach, Trisha Faraday, and our VP of Membership Activities, Shawn Brown, worked together to collect toys donated by employees at UConn Health for United Labor Agency again this year.
UHP usually collects during our holiday parties, but due to our 40th Anniversary this year and the holiday party being done differently, we set aside one day to go to each of the locations and collect the toys that many employees were kind enough to buy and donate.
At the end of the day we were able to donate approximately 75 toys to ULA. ULA had approximately 200 children they had received requests for this year, so we were able to help significantly in providing toys.
