Starbucks workers across the country walked out on "Red Cup Day" to demand an end to their employer's unfair labor practices. VP Comms Chris DeFrancesco and Treasurer Michelle Proper were among those who stood in solidarity with the Corbins Corner Starbucks baristas in West Hartford Nov. 16.
It was short notice, but we were able to get some points in to our lawmakers about the importance of keeping UConn Health public and keeping overtime in pension calculations.
