The Voluntary Schedule Reduction Program has been in existence since 1991.  It is located in the State Personnel Act, Chapter 67. After having reviewed the documents, the questions regarding accruals and state service time have been satisfactorily answered. UHP members should be cautious and carefully review what their personal financial needs are before volunteering for this plan.

As was answered in the Act, accruals of sick, vacation, and state service time do continue as if you were still working your current schedule.
