As we salute our active and retired miliary this Veterans Day, we acknowledge Air National Guard Maj. Michael Wilhelm, UHP member and nurse anesthetist.

We sent 20 delegates to this year’s CT AFL-CIO convention, held at Foxwoods, where about 1,300 employees are organized in five unions. We were among 268 delegates from 98 affiliates representing 24 unions! Our president, Bill Garrity, was re-elected as one of AFT CT’s four representatives on the CT AFL-CIO’s executive board.
