Every worker deserves access to great health care. Gains at the bargaining table help set standards for all working people (even those on the other side of that table, in many cases!).
We sent 19 delegates to the 2023 CT AFL-CIO convention at Foxwoods, passing 15 resolutions, including one to stand in support of the UAW, whose members went on strike against the "Big 3" automakers on the convention's second day.
We've renewed the memorandum of agreement on recruitment and retention stipends for specific nursing titles to June 2024, and the MoA on nursing overtime to January 2024.
