I am honored to serve as your new Vice President for Tier 1 (salaried) Employees and to continue supporting the important work of our union. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of contributing to UHP in various roles — union representative, steward, and as part of several committees. These experiences have deepened my commitment to advocating for the needs of our members and fostering a strong, engaged, and empowered community within UHP.

Receives more than 50% of votes in a three-way race

A recap of our delegation’s experience at the AFT biennial convention, July 22-25 in Houston, highlighted by an appearance by VP Kamala Harris, who only days earlier had announced her intention to run for president. Our 25 delegates were among more than 2,000 delegates from more than 370 locals and 27 state federations.
